Blue ribbon yogurt scones

2.5 cups flour
1/3 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 egg
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup dried fruit/nuts (raisins, dates, figs)

Cook Time → 15-20 min

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Combine flour, sugar, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg

3. Combine egg, yogurt, oil, and vanilla.

4. Add both to flour. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.

5. Stir in fruit/nuts.

6. With floured hands, shape dough into 8" flat circle on floured surface.

7. Cut dough into 8 wedges.

8. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.

9. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
