4 oz cream cheese, at room temp
3 Tbsp sugar
1 egg yolk
1 Tbsp sour cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon zest
1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 egg wash: (one egg beaten with a touch of water)
1 confectioner sugar

1. 1. In a bowl, add cream cheese and sour cream: egg yolk & lemon zest. Add sugar, and vanilla extract; mix together.

2. 2.Take your puff pastry, and open.

3. 3.Flour board table and rolling pin.

4. 4. Put puff pastry under flour on table, and sprinkle some flour on top.

5. 5. Take rolling pin, and roll it out a little:

6. 6.Take a knife, and cut into 4 squares:

7. 7. Take a tsp of filling, and put it right in center; on each square:

8. 8.Take egg wash with pastry brush, and brush all around the boarder of pastry of each square:

9. 9.Take two opposite corners, and pinch them together; do all (4's) the same.

10. 10.Put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; Go in fridge for 30 mins.

11. 11.Preheat oven 400*.

12. 12. when 30 mins is done, redo egg wash on top;

13. 13.Put in oven 400* for 25 mins, till nice and golden and puffed. Let cool for 5 mins.

14. 14.Put on plate, and sprinkle confectioner sugar on top.
