Cherry and almond cake
Recipe by
4oz Butter/Margarine
3oz Flour (Plain)
3oz Ground Almonds
5oz Caster Suger
3tsp Baking Powder
1 Tub of Glacier Cherries
DECORATIONS
A Handful of Glacier Cherries
Icing Suger
Hot Water
A Good Amount of Chopped Almonds
Prep. Time → 1 hour min
Cook Time → 30 mins min
1. 1. Melt the butter in the microwave for 1 minute
2. 2. Mix the sugar and butter until it is a creamy mixture.
3. 3. Beat the eggs then add it to the bowl
4. 4. In a seperate bowl mix together the flour, ground almonds and baking powder
5. 5. Pour the powder mixture into the sugar and butter mix.
6. 6. Then mix in the cherries
7. 7. Cook at 100c for half an hour
8. 8. Mix together some icing suger and the hot water until it makes a thick icing
9. 9. Toast the chopped almonds 'till brown, shaking regually.
10. 10. When toasted, spread the icing on the cake then sprinkle on the almonds.
11. 11. Line the edge with cherries
12. 12. Enjoy!!!!
