200g of butter or margarine
75g light brown sugar
6 tbsp golden syrup
450g of porridge oats

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 40 min

1. Grease your tin with butter, then cover with greaseproof paper

2. Add butter to sauce pan on medium heat

3. Once butter has melted, add in the sugar

4. Once sugar has dissolved, add in the oats and mix together

5. Once the mixture is all coated, put the mixture into your greased tin making sure to cover all the corners and empty spaces around it

6. Put in oven for 40 minutes or until golden- it is very important you don't take it out early otherwise it will be crumbly and not stick together

7. Cut the flapjacks in squares. The flapjacks may feel 'squidgy' but it will set overtime, so don't worry.

8. Enjoy!
