Chilli con carne (not including rice)

Ingredients for 4 people
500g minced beef (or lamb or quorn),
1 onion,
2 tablespoons of tomato puree,
1 stock/ oxo cube (and 150mls water),
1 small tin red kidney beans,
1/2-1 teaspoons chilli powder,
1/2-1 green or red pepper (if wanted).

Directions
1. Chop onion finely. Drain beans or chop mushrooms. open tin of tomatoes. Make 1/2 pint stock with oxo cube and hot water.
2. Place meat and onion into pan and fry for 4-5 mins until meat is brown.
3. Add all other ingredients and half the stock. Boil, then simmer for 20 mins.
4. Add more stock as necessary.
5. Serve with cooked rice and enjoy!
