Chocolate chip cookies
3 oz butter
3 oz caster sugar
3 oz light soft brown sugar
few drops vanilla flavouring
6 oz self raising flour
2-4 oz chocolate chips
Cook Time → 12-15 min
1. 1. Cream together the butter, sugars and vanilla flavouring until pale and fluffy, then gradually beat in the egg.
2. 2. Sift the flour and salt together and flod in with the chocolate chips.
3. 3. Drop spoonfuls of mixture on to two greased baking sheets and bake in the oven at 180*C/350*F/gas 4 for 12-15 minutes.
4. 4. Cool on the baking sheets for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling
