Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies

1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup shortening (or Earth Balance Shortening)
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs (or equivalent egg replacer)
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups chocolate chips
2 cups oats
1 tsp vanilla

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 12 min

1. Preheat oven 350 degrees

2. Sift flour, salt, & baking soda in a large bowl

3. Beat shortening & sugar in a separate bowl

4. Add eggs & vanilla to the butter mixture, beat until smooth

5. Stir dry ingredients into the batter

6. Drop approximately tablespoon balls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet

7. Bake 10-12 minutes
