Churros with spiced chilli chocolate of Forbidden - Recipefy

250ml water
100g unsalted butter
120g plain flour
1,25ml (quarter tsp) salt
3 large eggs, beaten
vegetable oil, for frying
200g dark chocolate
half red chilli, seeded and finely chopped
icing sugar, to dust

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 20 min

1. combine water and butter in medium saucepan and bring to boil. Cook until butter melts and remove from heat

2. Add flour and salt and stir with a wooden spoon until well combined and dough comes away from the side of the saucepan. remove from heat and set aside to cool

3. add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Spoon dough into piping bad fitted with 3cm diameter fluted nozzle

4. heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat. Using small, sharp knife to cut the dough, pipe four 10cm lengths into the oil.

5. fry until golden brown, about 2 min. remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towel

6. melt the chocolate in microwave on medium heat and add the chilli

7. dust churros with icing sugar and serve with chilli chocolate
