Cranberry jell-o salad

Ingredients for 12 servings
2 1/2 cups canned crushed pineapple
2 packages cherry Jell-O
3/4 cups sugar
2 cups hot water
1/2 cup cold water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 cups cranberries, whole ; chopped
one small orange, no skin or seeds, chopped in food processor
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional

Directions
1. drain pineapple (reserve juice).
2. Combine Jell-O and sugar, dissolved in hot water. Add cold water, pineapple juice and lemon juice.
3. Chill until partially set. Add pineapple and remaining ingredients, mix well.
4. pour into mold or 9 x 13 pan, chill until firm.
