Crockpot applesauce

Ingredients for 16 ounces
3 apples, finely cubed or grated (this is a good use for old or mealy apples)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Apple cider (or water)
Optional
- dried fruit, such as apricots, prunes, raisins, craisins, etc.
- frozen fruit, such as berries
- additional fresh fruit

Cook Time → 60-90 min

1. Add apples and all dry ingredients to crockpot
2. Cover with as little cider (or water) as possible
3. Cook covered (on high or low) until color and consistency is uniform
