French toast bake
Recipe by1 loaf french bread, cut diagonally in 1 inch slices
8 eggs
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups half and half cream
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup butter
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
3 TBL light corn syrup
Prep. Time → 30 minCook Time → 40 minLevel → Medium

1. 1 Butter a 9 X 13 baking dish
2. 2 Arrange the slices of french bread on the bottom of the baking dish
3. 3 In a large bowl beat together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and cinnamon
4. 4 Pour over slices of bread, cover and refrigerate over night
5. 5 The next morning preheat oven to 350.
6. 6 In a small saucepan combine butter, sugar and corn syrup; heat until bubbbling.
7. 7 Pour over bread and egg mixture
8. 8 Bake uncovered for 40 minutes
