Full of beans chilli
Recipe by* 4 Tbsp olive oil
* 450g basic minced bees 20% fat contents a must
* 1 large brown onion, finely diced
* 250ml red wine
* 1 medium brown onion cut in half
* 1 large tomato skin removed
* 1/2 bulb garlic,
* 1 or 2 scotch bonnets
* 1 poblano chilli chopped
* 1 to 5 Thai bird chilli
* 1 or 2 jalapeño
* 1 Tsp pepper corns
* up top 1 tsp salt (if using reduced salt stock cubes that are the trend today)
* 1/2 Tbsp of molasses
* 2 beef stock cubes
* 1 veg stock cube
* 1 420g tin baked beans
* 1 400g tin red kidney beans drained
* 1 400g tin Butter Beans drained
* 1 400g tin black eyed beans drained
* 2 red peppers chopped
Note add all the chillies if you can take the heat or one of each de-seeded if you can't!
Prep. Time → 30 min
Cook Time → 120 min

2. 1. add olive oil to large heavy bottomed pot add chopped onions and fry till golden
2. Gradually add the minced beef and fry all together
3. Put medium onion, scotch bonnets, birds chillies, jalapeños, tomato, pepper corns, stock cubes and garlic in a blender with the red wine and blend to a paste.
4. Add the paste to the pan simmer gently and stir in the molasses add the salt to taste at this stage.
5. Add the rest of the ingredients but not the chopped peppers
6. Place In oven for 2 hrs minimum at 120 Deg c (the longer the better)
7. Add chopped peppers 20 min before serving
3. Serve with
Pitta bread or tacos or baked potato and add salsa, chunky guacamole, sour cream
Or just plain old rice if preferred
