Garlic cheese log

This is a generational recipe that is made every Holiday and given as gifts. 4 lbs. Velveeta cheese (room temperature) 3 to 4 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (cream cheese is for texture and softness; does not effect taste) 6 to 8 cloves garlic, crushed, the amount depends on how strong the garlic is 1 ½ to 2 cups pecans

1. Grind garlic and pecans together, allowing juices to blend thoroughly. You can use a food processor for this. (This can be mixed the night before and refrigerated.) Mix with cheeses. Combine equal amounts of chili powder and paprika and sprinkle on a sheet of wax paper or freezer paper. Roll a baseball size ball of cheese into a log. Wrap in paper and store in refrigerator. Eat with crackers.
