Ingredients for Makes 5 dozen
3/4 stick of butter
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c molasses
1 egg
2-1/4 c flour
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp ginger
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves

Directions
1. Pre-Heat oven to 375 degrees
Cream together (until fluffy) -- butter, brown sugar, molasses & egg
Sift together -- flour, soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon & ground cloves
Stir flour mixture in the creamed mixture
Form into small balls.
Roll in granulated sugar
Place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet
Bake for 12 minutes
