Granadilla and Orange Cake of Forbidden - Recipefy

280g self raising flour
250g butter
4 eggs
25ml orange zest
5ml vanilla essence
110g granadilla pulp
2ml salt
150ml milk

rose cream
250ml fresh cream
60ml granadilla pulp
zest of 1 lemon

Prep. Time → 20 min

Cook Time → 60 min

1. Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line a 23cm cake tin, keep aside

2. cream butter and castor sugar together until pale and fluffy.

3. Add eggs, one at a time and mix well after each addition

4. Add in vanilla essence, orange zest and granadilla pulp

5. In a large bowl combine self raising flour and salt

6. Add egg mixture to flour, alternating with milk, until egg mixture is fully combined

7. spoon cake batter into prepared cake tin

8. bake 45-60min or until skewer comes out clean when inserted

9. remove from oven and allow to cool for 5min

10. remove cake from tin and place on wire rack to cool completely

11. whip cream just before serving. Add granadilla pulp and orange zest.
