Jeera rice/cumin rice

Basmati Rice-1 cup
Ghee-1 tblspn
Jeera-1 tspn
Cinnamon-1'stick
Cardamom-2
Cloves-4
Black pepper corns-1/4 tspn
Star anise-1
Boiling water-1 3/4 cup
Salt
1. Soak rice in water for 30 mints.Drain water,keep aside.
2. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and splutter cumin seeds and other whole masala.When nice aroma of the spices comes,add rice and
saute in low flame till the rice starts to crackle.Now add boiling water and sprinkle enough salt.Cover the cooker and cook for
just 1 whistle in medium flame and for 2 more mints in low flame.Switch off the flame.Let it sit till the pressure subsides.
Cumin rice is ready to be served.
