Kuttiyappam of Kitchen Snippets - Recipefy

Appam Flour/Rice flour-1 cup
Rava-1 cup
Grated Coconut-1/2 cup
Cooked rice-1/2 cup
Yeast-1 tspn
Sugar-1/2 tspn
Salt-a pinch
Water-as required

1. Grind together grated coconut and cooked rice to a smooth paste.
Mix yeast with 3 tblapn warm water and sugar and keep for 10 mints.

2. Take a deep bowl and mix together appam flour,rava, yeast mixture and coconut and rice paste and salt.Add enough water and make a thick batter.( the batter should be thicker than dosa batter ).

3. Heat a flat thava or pan.Pour a small spoon full batter to it. At a time,you can make 3-4 appams in the same thava .Flip over and cook both sides.

4. Enjoy with chicken charu curry.
