Lasagna of joan+genevieve - Recipefy

Meat: sausage, ground beef, chicken, mushrooms…

Vegetables: spinach, olives, onions, garlic, celery, tomatoes, mushrooms…

Pasta: make your own! (1 egg: 0.5-1 cup white or wheat flower. Knead until velvety, let rest 10 minutes, roll out and boil. Look, you’re a pasta chef.)

Cheese: cream cheese, ricotta, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, Swiss cheese…?

1. Lasagna is like pizza: you can put anything in it, in any order you want. The general principle seems to be: layer thin sheets of pasta with meat and other Italian stuff, then bake. This is a great clean-out-the-leftovers dish. Make it look however you want.

2. Cook meat, drain.

3. Cook vegetables, drain.

4. Cook pasta, drain. (So draining!)

5. Layer in whatever order you desire. (Usually, sauce or pasta on the bottom, cheese on top.)

6. Cover, bake for 30-45 minutes at 350-375°.

7. Let stand at least 10 minutes before serving. (Very important!)
