Lemon and fig chicken

2Tbs flour
2-3lb chicken cut into pieces
4tsp olive oil
3 large garlic cloves, minced
14.5oz can chicken broth
2Tbs lemon juice
8 figs, stemed and trimmed, cut lengthwise
lemon wedges for garnish
1. Place flour in a large plastic bag and season with salt and pepper
2. add chicken to bag, seal, and shake to coat chicken
3. Heat 2tsp oil in large skillet over medium-hihg heat
4. workin gin bathces, add chicken and saute until brown on all sides, about 7 minutes per batch
5. transfer chickent o placte
6. once chicken is complete add 2tsp oil to skillet and reduce heat to medium
7. Add garlic and saute until toasted, approx 2 minutes
8. Stir in broth and lemon juice an bring to a boil
9. Add chicken and figs
10. Cover and simmer until chicken is tender, approx 35 minutes
11. Use a slotted spoon to transfer chickent oa bowl and cover with foil to keep warm
12. Boil juices in a pot unti thinckend toa sauce consisitency, about 5 minutes
13. Season with salt and pepper and pour over chicken
14. Serve with lemon wedges
