2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks of unsalted butter, softened at room temp.
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup strawberry jam
1 confectioner sugar

1. 1. In a standing mixer, add butter and granulated sugar. cream together for a min.

2. 2.Add vanilla extract; mix.

3. 3.In the bowl with the flour, add the salt and mix together.

4. 4.Add flour in standing mixer; mix on low. Mix till nice dough form.

5. 5. Add flour on table; put dough on table. sprinkle a little more flour on dough.

6. 6. Pull together: and form into a ball: cover ball in plastic wrap. Put in fridge for 30 mins.

7. 7.When done, cut in half, and put on well floured surface. Take (2) baking sheets, and lay with parchment paper.

8. 8.Take a rolling pin, and roll out.

9. 9.Take a heart shape cutter, and cut out on dough (bottom piece) put on baking sheet.

10. 10.For top, cut out a heart shape, and a little heart shape cutter, and put in middle.

11. 11.Put in fridge 15 mins, till harden.

12. 12.Put in oven, 350* 15 till lightly golden. Then let cool completely.

13. 13.Take butter knife, spread strawberry Jam on bottom heart shape one.

14. 14.Take confectioner sugar, and sprinkle on tops of heart shape w/ little heart in one.

15. 15. Place the tops on Jam ones
