Molasses Ginger Snap Cookies of Michele Poole - Recipefy

3/4 Cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Molasses
1 egg beaten
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 1/4 tsp ground ginger

1. Cream well shortening and white sugar. The add molasses and egg. Then sift together flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger, and add to the molasses mixture. Roll dough in small balls and dip in white sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet and back at 375 for 10-12 min
