Mushrooms and brussel sprouts

2 lb mushrooms, sliced
2 lb Brussell sprouts, coarse chop
caramelized onions

Prep. Time → 30 min

Cook Time → 15 min

1. steam mushrooms a few min in butter, then add chopped Brussell sprout while there is still liquid in the pan. Add salt and garlic. paste and stir well. Continue with lid on for a few minutes, stirring periodically, then take lid off and continue stirring to get even tenderness in the vegetables. Add caramelized onions (that have been prepared previously), stir and heat through, and season to taste.

2. Serve over whatever grain appeals. I used polenta prepared with cheese from Jake's pickup. 4 stars from husband and mother
