My Favorite Meat Loaf of Amy Moore - Recipefy

For Loaf
2 lbs. ground round
2 eggs, beaten
3 slices of bread, cubed
2/3 cup of milk
chopped onion (optional)
4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
garlic powder
worcestershire sauce
bacon
For Sauce:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard (or more to taste)
dash mustard powder
worcestershire sauce (2 tbsp)

Prep. Time → 20 min

Cook Time → 60 min

1. Mix the eggs, milk, and bread crumbs and let it sit for about 10 minutes or until the bread has soaked up most of the moisture.

2. Mix the meat, eggs, milk, bread, worcestershire, garlic powder, onions, and cheese. Form a loaf. ( a nice extra is to wrap about 5 slices of uncooked bacon around the loaf and then place it in the pan)

3. Place in baking dish and cook at 350 for one hour. Pour sauce over the meat loaf about halfway through cooking. (I look for an internal temp of 175 or so)
