Urad dal/uzhunnu parippu-1/4-1/2 cup
Rice Flour-2 tblspn
Thin coconut slices-2 tblpsn
Hing/kayam-a pinch
Coriander leaves-1 tblpsn chopped
Curry leaves-1 tblpsn chopped
Salt
Oil
1. Soak urad dal for 2-3 hours.After 3 hours grind it to a smooth paste without adding water.
2. Add all the other ingredients to the urad dal paste and mix well.
Heat oil in a deep pan .When the oil is hot enough,make small balls out of the urad dal mixture and fry till they turn golden brown on all sides.Keep the flame in medium so that the inside of the bondas also gets cooked well.
3. Note:Keep a bowl of water to grease your hands.Always grease your hands well before making balls out of batter.
