1 1/2 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg, beaten 5 Tbsp. cold water 5 Tbsp. Crisco 1 Tbsp. dry Lipton onion soup mix or plain onion minced 1 can cream of chicken coup 1 pkg. chicken breast

1. Boil chicken in salted water til done. Cut up into small pieces. Mix flour and Crisco. Work with fork til flour is mealy. Add egg and water. Mix well. Divide dough into two equal parts. Roll out thin on floured surface and cut in strips and let dry for 20 minutes. Add soup and dry mix to boiling broth. Remove from stove and reduce heat to med low. Drop dumplings into hot mixture. Do not stir but shake pan as you add the dumplings. Return to heat, cover and cook for 15 minutes slowly. No peeking. Leave pan top sealed.
