One bowl banana bread
Recipe by1 stick butter, room temperature Do not use margarine 1 ½ cup flour 1 tsp. Baking soda ½ tsp. Salt 4 ripe bananas 3/4 cup sugar 2 lg. Eggs pus 1 yolk 1/4 cup sour cream 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg 1 tsp. Vanilla 3/4 cup chopped pecans
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter or spray 2-8x4x2 inch loaf pans. Sift flour, baking soda, salt and spices together. Set aside. Combine sugar and butter, beat well. Add sliced bananas and beat until blended. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add vanilla and sour cream beat well. Add flour mixture and pecans. Pour into pans and bake 40 minutes or until it test done. Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
