Oriental Egg Fried Rice SW of debsxx - Recipefy

Ingredients
- 198gm (7 oz) long-grain rice (uncooked weight), cooked and left to go cold
- 100gm (3½ oz) frozen peas, defrosted (rinse under warm water to do this quickly)
- Fry Light
- 2 back bacon rashers, all visible fat removed, roughly chopped (4 Syns on Green)
- 1 small red pepper, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 2 large eggs
- 1 heaped teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder

1. Method
1. Heat a wok sprayed with Fry Light and stir fry the bacon for 3-4 minutes until crisp.

2. Add the rice and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until completely heated through.

3. Tip in the red pepper, garlic and peas and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

4. Beat the eggs, pour into the pan and stir-fry until the egg just sets. Toss in the Chinese five-spice powder, stir and serve.
