Palak (Paneer or Alu) of Uday - Recipefy

Palak One big jodi, One big onion, One tomato, green chilles 5, coriander, 6 ginger paklis, little ginger, salt to taste, cream, paneer or potatoes

Prep. Time → 45 min

Cook Time → 20 min

1. Wash the Spinach thoroughly and check for presence of worms.

2. Cook this palak in a kadai. No need to add oil or water. The wetness after washing the palak is enough.

3. Take approx just more than one table spoon of oil. Add chopped onions to it. Sautee until this becomes pink.

4. Add ginger, garlic and tomato in that order and continue to sautee for a few minutes and then turn off the gas.

5. Add salt to chopped green chillies to taste.

6. Add the palak in the grinder and after coarsley grinding it, add cream and grind it further. Add the onion masala and the chillies, throw in a little bit of coriander and continue to grind.

7. Grind it until it is a fine paste. The Palak is ready.

8. Lightly fry either potato or paneer cubes and add it to the paneer paste.

9. Serve with Puri or Chapati.
