Papaya Jam of Kitchen Snippets - Recipefy

Papaya pulp-1 cup taken from fine ripe papaya
Sugar-1/4 cup or more( add as per your need )
Orange juice-1/4 cup
Chinagrass/Agar Agar-1 small piece(3 gms appox.)
Water-1/4 cup

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 15 min

1. In a saucepan,add papaya pulp,orange juice and and sugar.Mix well.Simmer the flame and let it cook.

2. Meanwhile,put china grass in water.Double boil it ( Keep the china grass in a bigger bowl with water and let it boil.The chinagrass
will melt with the heat from the boiling water.)When the china grass completely melts in ,remove from fire.

3. After sometime,the water content in the papaya mix will dry up and it will rather have a jam like texture.At this point,add chinagrass
to it.Mix well and stir continuously till it attains a sticky and shiny texture.Remove from and let it cool down completely.
Transfer to clean and airtight containers and keep in refrigerator.
