Pasta alla bolognese

Ingredients for 4-6 children
500g beef mince
1 onion, sliced
1 stick celery, sliced
1 carrot, grated
3 garlic cloves
300g chopped tomatoes
1/2 corguette, chopped
300ml beef stock
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
2 fresh bay leaves
1 tbsp tomato purée
400g dried pasta
200g Grana Padana, grated
Directions
1. Brown the meat and remove from pan.
Fry vegetables until soft.
Return meat to pan and add remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil and then simmer gently for at least 1hr.
