Pigs: cocktail sausages
Blankets: use a biscuit dough or a pie dough!
Biscuit- 3 parts flour : 1 part fat* : 2 parts liquid
Pie- 3 parts flour : 2 parts fat* : 1 part water
*try animal fat, such as the skim from a stock!
1. Combine with flour until there are many pea-sized globs of fat covered with flour.
2. Add cold water until dough comes together.
3. Roll dough and cut into two-inch squares. Wrap each sausage in a square, pressing to seal the edges. Lay seam-side down onto a greased baking sheet.
4. Bake until crusts are puffy and slightly golden.
