Popcorn with infused olive oil
Recipe by
1 Bowl of Popcorn kernels.
Olive Oil (quantity as per your preferences)
Herbs: Rosemary, Crushed Olives, Oregano and other such herbs as per your preferences.
Half cup of Infused Olive oil (as per your preference)
Salt as per your taste and requirement
Prep. Time → 3 min
Cook Time → 10 min
1. Method of cooking: Take a large pot heat it and then add ½ cup of oil and popcorn kernels to it and stir it. Cover it with lid and cook it over low to medium heat until kernels start popping while continuously shaking the pot for approximately 3 minutes or so. It’s done, transfer the content into a serving bowl, sprinkle it with salt and serve.
2. To make Infused Olive Oil:
3. Clean your herbs wash and dry them and then slightly crush them so that they release their flavors. Transfer these herbs into a clean and dried jar container and then add warm Olive oil to the jar. Cover it with a lid and keep this in cool dry and dark place for about two weeks. Taste it if you like stronger flavor you can add more herbs accordingly. You even add garlic cloves but do remember to remove them after some time as garlic tends to overpower other herbs smell and taste.
4. Your infused homemade olive oil is ready to use.
