Slow cooked beef brisket

Medium sized Joint Beef Brisket
Carton of Passata
4 Beef stock cubes
1 large onion, sliced
8 large potatoes, cubed
8 large carrots cubed
pinch of whole peppercorns

Prep. Time → 15 min

Cook Time → 240 - 600 min

1. Prepare your vegetables and potatoes

2. Place these in your slow cooker and add the carton of passata. Refill the empty carton with water and also empty into the slow cooker.

3. Add peppercorns and stock cubes, and stir thoroughly.

4. Rinse off the beef brisket joint and place in the slow cooker with all other ingredients, coat well with the liquid.

5. Turn on your slow cooker and cook on high for 4 -5 hours or on low for 8 - 10 hours.

6. Once cooked, remove brisket from the gravy, slice/ shred and re introduce to gravy. Serve when desired.
