4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate 1 ½ sticks butter, ¾ cup 2 cups sugar 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups flour

1. Preheat oven to 350. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, mix well. Refrigerate 15 minutes or until dough is easy to handle. Shape dough into 1 inch balls; place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake 8 minutes or just until set, do not overbake. Let stand on baking sheet 1 minutes; transfer to wire racks and cool completely. Jazz it up: Customize these drops with a variety of toppings. Right after they come out of the oven, press 1 of the following options onto each cookie, or mix it up and try a few: a walnut half; a marshmallow half, with cut edge dipped in colored sugar; half of a Kraft caramel; coarsely chopped candy canes; a drizzle of melted semi sweet baking chocolate.
