1 Green Pepper
2 Medium Sized Carrots
2 Sticks of Celery
1 x 400g Tin of Chopped tomatoes
1 Teaspoon of Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon of Paprika
70ml Water
1 Tablespoon of Olive oil
1 Oxo Cube
1 Teaspoon of mixed herbs (Basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, sage, parsley)
500g Beef Mince
150g Uncooked Spaghetti
Teaspoon of Worcester Sauce (Optional)
Handful of Cheese (Optional)

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 60 min

1. Chop green pepper, carrots and celery up into small chunks then place into blender. Mix well in blender until combined

2. Add the chopped tomatoes, sugar, paprika and Water to the blender and continue to mix until a consistent sauce is created

3. Add olive oil and mince to large saucepan (or wok) and begin on high heat to fry the Mince until golden brown. Use a fork or spatula to break up the mince from clumping

4. Drain fat from mince so it is dry in the pan. Then add the blended mixture to the mince and stir with spatula until all the mince is covered. Crumble in the oxo cube and mix well

5. Place lid on saucepan and leave on lower heat to simmer for an hour. Add water or chopped tomatoes if the mixture gets too dry. (Can simmer for less time on a higher heat, but needs to be monitored)

6. Add the spaghetti to a saucepan and pour on boiling water and bend the spaghetti when the boiling water loosens the spaghetti round, so that it doesnt break. Fill the saucepan with water until spaghetti is covered, add a small amount of olive oil to the pan also

7. Occasionally stirring the mince and the Spaghetti which should take about 10 minutes on a high heat. Once the spaghetti is cooked, serve up onto plate, and add a portion of the bolognese mixture on top.

8. Add cheese and Worcester sauce on the top if desired
