Spring roll wrappers
Recipe byFor wrappers
All purpose flour/maida- 1 cup
Salt- as per taste
Warm water-as needed
Oil-1 tspn
1. In a deep bowl mix together all purpose flour and salt. Make a smooth dough by adding warm water little by little. Cover it with a plastic wrap and keep for 15 mints.
2. After 15 mints divide the dough into small balls.( little smaller than lemon sized ones ). Then take 2 balls and roll each of them into small and thin circles. Now drizzle little oil on top of one circle and spread evenly. Then place the other rolled out circle on top of it. Press very gently and roll them into a thin wrapper.
3. Place the rolled out wrapper into a medium hot tawa and cook on both sides . Cook only for 6-7 secs.Don't over cook. Remove from fire.
4. Then you can find two layers in the wrapper.Pull them apart carefully to make two thin wrappers.
Repeat the same with the remaining dough also. These wrappers get dry easily so always cover them immediately before you start making rolls.
5. You can store these wrappers in refrigerator for further use.Just place a parchment paper between each wrapper ,put them in a ziplock bag and keep in refrigerator.Just warm them for couple of seconds before using.
