Steak Ale & Leek Pie of Wyxe Boy - Recipefy

1 large piece of chin of beef
flat mushroom
1 carrot
1 stick of celery
1cm cube of ginger
1 leek
1 tbs paprika
1 tsp of english mustard
large glass of good red wine
2 tbs plain flour
tbs cider vinegar
400ml good beef stock

Pastry
100g Plain Flour
50g Butter
tad of water
salt & peppa

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 150 min

1. Pre heat oven to 160

2. Cut 1cm cubes of carrot, celery & beef and chop leek

3. Fry for 10 minutes on a medium heat in casserole dish

4. add paprika, mustard and wine and cook for a further 15 minutes or until the wine has reduced by at least half.

5. add cider vinegar and flour, mix it up then add stock.

6. bang it in the oven for 2 hours

7. Make the pastry up and leave to stand at room temperature.

8. chuck the pastry on top after 2 hours and cook for further 30 minutes

9. Then enjoy the dream pie in those winter months
