Strawberry cream cheese pie

Ingredients

1 9" baked pie shell
1 3oz package cream cheese
2 T sugar
3 T light cream
2 C fresh strawberries (mashed and undrained)
2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 C sugar
1/8 tsp salt
2 T cornstarch
1 C whipping cream

Directions

1. Blend cheese, sugar, and cream in small bowl
Spread evenly in bottom of pie shell
In saucepan, combine strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and cornstarch
Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until mixture is thick and clear
Pour over cream cheese in pie shell
Chill
Garnish with whipped cream and whole fresh strawberries
