Tamilnadu style potato poriyal

Ingredients for 2-3 people( makes around 2 cups )
Potatoes-3
Turmeric powder-1/2 tspn
Sambar powder-2 tspn
Urad dal/uzhunnu parippu-1 tspn
Mustard seeds-1/4 tspn
Oil
Salt
Directions
1. Peel and cut potatoes into small cubes.Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and urad dal.When urad dal changes colour to light brown,add potatoes and turmeric powder.Mix well,add little water( around 3-4 tblpsn ) and enough salt.Cover and cook for 4-5 mints.
Then add sambar powder,mix well and till the potatoes are well cooked.Remove from fire.
2. Enjoy with plain rice,curd,rasam and some veg side dish.
