Texas sheet cake

Sift together
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar

Combine, boil 1 minute, pour over flour & sugar mixture:
1/2 cup Crisco
4 Tbs. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 cup water

Add
½ cup sour milk
2 eggs
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
½ tsp. salt

Icing: Boil one minute: 6 tablespoons milk, 4 tablespoons cocoa; 1 stick butter. Remove from heat and add 1 box confectioner’s sugar (1 lb.), 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup chopped nuts
