Shallots-2
Garlic-5 podes
Coriander seeds-1/4 tspn
Cumin seeds-a pinch
Red chilli powder-1/4 tspn
Turmeric powder-1/4 tspn
Corinader powder-1/4 tspn
Mustard seeds-1/4 tspn
Fenugreek seeds-1.4 tspn
Tamarind juice-from a lemon sized ball
Hing/kayam-a pinch
Oil
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt
1. Crush together shallots,garlic,cumin seeds and coriander seeds.
2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds.Then add the crushed mixture.Saute till the raw smell goes.Add tomatoes and saute till the they start to become soft.Them add tamarind juice and the powders( red chilli,turmeric and coriander).Mix well and add 1 1/2 cup of water.Add hing ,curry leaves,coriander leaves and enough salt.Cover and cook for 3-4 mints in medium flame.
