1 pint beans (from Rudy's BBQ is best)
2 lbs Browned and spiced beef
2 cans of Red Gold diced petite tomatoes
1 can of Red Gold diced petite tomatoes with green chilis
2 medium white onions - sliced and diced
2 cans of chicken broth
1 packet of beef flavor concentrate (the liquid one - not powder)
garlic powder
chili powder
cumin
salt
black pepper
1 jalapeno

Prep. Time → 20 min

Cook Time → 1440 min

1. Brown and spice (spice with chili powder, cumin, black pepper, and salt - add garlic powder just before removing from the heat) 1 lb of beef - drain all fat and add to crockpot. Put second 1 lb portion of meat on the heat, add spices, the add onions, beans, and tomatoes to the crockpot. After the second pound of meat is browned, add it on top of the vegetables. Add enough chicken broth to top the pot. Add 1 jalapeno (deseed for less heat if you like, or add it whole) and add the beef flavor concentrate. Dust the liquid top with more black pepper and chili powder. Stir to mix, top with a lid, cook on high for 6 hours. Reduce to low for at least 12 hours. Serve hot with club crackers and a splash of Texas Pete.
