2 large cucumbers, peeled, seeded, grated, and devoid of the liquid. This is done with the aid of a strainer and a coffee filter yielding 3/4 cup of pulp.

2 large cloves of garlic. More or less to taste, put through a garlic press yielding 1 1/2 teaspoons

1 tsp dried dill weed

1/4 tsp salt (optional)

pepper to taste (optional)

1 tsp lemon juice

1-2 tsp olive oil (omit for lower fat)

2 cups Greek yogurt (Nana missed out on the Greek yogurt craze, so she would make her own or go to the Greek store for it. I imagine store brand would work fine. She does note that most restaurants use sour cream, but yogurt is better)

1. There are no directions on Nana's recipe. If I remember correctly, you just mix all of the ingredients together. I would suggesting letting it sit over night for better flavor.
