vanilla pudding recipe

2 1/2 cups whole milk
1/3 cup granulated sugar
3 1/2 Tbsp corn starch
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
3 egg yolks
1 pinch of salt
1 Tbsp butter

Prep. Time → 5 min

Cook Time → 10 min

1. 1. In a large saucepan, bring to medium heat; add milk, bring to a simmer.

2. 2.In a bowl, add egg yolks, sugar, vanilla extract. Use hand mixer, and mix to pale color.

3. 3.Add corn starch; mix.

4. 4.Add a laddle of milk to the bowl with mixer on;

5. 5.Add bowl to sauce pan;

6. 6.Cook medium-low, constailly stirring for 7 mins.

7. 7.Heat off, and add butter and salt.

8. 8.Pass threw a sieze, put in cups and cover with plastic wrap touching the cream, and put in fridge.
