Wheat halwa (kada prashadam), atta halwa sweet, quick sweet recipe
Recipe by
1. Ghee – 1 cup
2. Sugar – 1 cup
3. Atta (whole wheat flour) – 1 cup
4. Water – 2 cups
Prep. Time → 5 min
Cook Time → 6 min
1. How to make Wheat Halwa:
1. Mix water & sugar and bring to a boil and remove. The idea is to just dissolve the sugar and not reduce it. In a pan heat the ghee and add atta.
2. Cook on a slow flame till the color gradually changes into a golden brown. At this stage add the syrup and on slow flame cook till it absorbs all the water. Cook for some more time till the ghee ooze out of the sides of the halwa. Serve hot.
