Ingredients for 6-8 people
1 large loaf challah cut in 1in slices
6 large eggs
1.5 cups milk
1 cup light cream
1 tbsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup butter
1 Tbsp light brown corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Directions
1. Butter 13x9 inch baking pan
Arrange bread slices overlapping to fill pan
Combine eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon & nutmeg-mix well and pour over bread.
Cover and refrigerate over night
2. NEXT DAY:
Pre hear oven to 350
Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and walnuts (optional)- mix well, spread over bread
Bake for 40 minutes
