Banana bread

Ingredients for 225mm x 125mm loaf
125g margarine
75g sugar
2 eggs
2ml vanilla essence
4 bananas (works best when bananas are oldish and have lots of black spots on peel)
500ml flour
1ml salt
10ml baking powder
1ml bicarbonate of soda
125ml milk
Prep. Time → 30 min
Cook Time → 60 min

Directions
1. Cream margarine and sugar
2. Add eggs one by one, beating well each time
3. Mash bananas well and stir in.
4. Sift flour, baking powder and salt and stir into mixture
5. Combine milk, vanilla essence and bicarbonate of soda and add to mixture
6. Turn into loaf tin 225mm x 125mm and bake for one hour at 180 degrees Celsius
