4 heaping cups flour 1 Tbsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. sugar

1. Mix all ingredients and store in a covered container. To Use: Mix 1 heaping cup of the mix, 2 Tbsp. shortening, 1 tsp. yeast, ¼ cup buttermilk and enough warm water to make the consistency of soft biscuit dough. Turn out on floured board and pat out and then cut. Bake after allowing to set for about 15 minutes. Bake at 425.
