Pumpkin cookies recipe

1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 egg
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup stick of unsalted butter, softened at room temp
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

(for the glaze:)
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 cups confectioner sugar
4 Tbsp whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 15 min

1. 0.preheat oven to 350*

2. 1. In a standing mixer, with a paddle attachment, add both sugar.

3. 2.Make sure butter is room Temp: *Leave out butter over night* Add butter in mixer; cream together really well:

4. 3.Take baking sheet, and line with parchment paper.

5. 4.Add egg, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, mix.

6. 5.Take dry ingredients, and put in standing mixer. Mix till combined.
6.Take ice cream scooper, and scoop batter on baking sheet in Dallops.

7. 7.In a small cup of water, take/ dip fingers and flatten lightly the top with fingers.

8. 8.Put in oven 350, 12 to 15 mins, till edges are lightly brown.

9. 9. ( for glaze)

10. 1. In a small sauce pan, add butter. Let cook on low setting heat, 4 to 5 mins. till butter is golden brown color.

11. 2. Pour in bowl of confection sugar, add milk and mix. Keep mixing till it turns like glaze: add vanilla extract; mix.

12. 3.Take a pipping bag, and pour glaze mixture in it.

13. 4.Take out pumpkin cookies on baking sheet, and drizzle ^ on top of cookies.

14. 5.Let them set.
