Sausage Spinach Rice Bowl of Michelle - Recipefy

1 (8.8 ounce) pouch precooked brown rice (or if you have the time, 1 cup-ish brown rice)
Olive Oil
2 links italian sausage (turkey, chicken, or pork are fine)
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 (6 - 8 ounce) packages fresh baby spinach
1/4 - 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (I don't measure cheese...just add what you like)

1. Prepare rice according to the package directions - if going with normal brown rice, start up about 1/2 hour to 40 minutes before you want to eat.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to coat the pan.

3. Add the sausage and pepper and cook for about 4 minutes or until the sausage is browned and crumbled.

4. Add the garlic and stir constantly for 30 seconds.

5. Add the spinach and cook about 30 seconds or until the spinach starts to wilt - tossing constantly.

6. Stir in the rice and cook for about a minutes. Sprinkle each serving with cheese.
